Q: Why doesn’t Vanguard accept Discover and American Express cards?
A: Vanguard is committed to offering our customers the lowest possible prices. In order to do that, our costs must be the lowest. In order to fund their rewards programs, American Express and Discover charge substantially higher merchant fees than do Visa and MasterCard. Almost everyone who has an American Express or Discover card also has a Visa or MasterCard. We pass the saving on to you.

A: Vanguard Office Supplies began business under its current name early in 2009. Its predecessor, Wilcor Medical Supplies began business in 1992.

Q: How do I access Vanguard’s on-line 25,000 SKU catalog and place orders?
A: You need to open an account and establish a credit line with us, or alternatively, make immediate payment on-line using a Visa or MasterCard. To open your account, please contact our Sales Department at 800-757-4909.

Q: Once I open my account, how soon will I be able to access the catalog and place orders on-line?
A: When your account is opened, you can access the on-line catalog the next business day.

Q: How do I get my account number and password?
A: When your account is opened, your account executive will give you your account number and your initial password. You can subsequently change the password and we recommend that you change it every few weeks for security purposes.

Q: What is your return policy?
A: Any items purchased that are defective can be returned for full credit and Vanguard pays the shipping both ways. New items in their original packaging can be returned up to 45 days after purchase for full credit. Food items cannot be returned because of health regulations.

Q: I see some prices in your on-line catalog that are higher than my current vendor charges. Does Vanguard have a “lowest price” guarantee?
A: Vanguard guarantees that your total supplies expense will always be the lowest. Sometimes we give $ or % off the total invoice, sometimes we extend “courtesy credits” and we always offer Specials and Coupons. Every order you place with us earns you Vanguard Rewards on your purchases that you apply to your future orders.
